There was a call for food & ingredient firms to go beyond traditional efficiency thinking, as well as greater investment in urban farming. The true cost of food and beverages were examined, with proposed solutions to narrow the gap between sustainable and conventional foods. The aim of the Sustainable Foods Summit is to explore new horizons for eco-labels and sustainability in the food industry by discussing key industry issues.
